Pink Lady Mocktail

Pink Lady was a prohibition-era drink that was made with Applejack, akin to an apple whiskey. This mocktail removes the alcohol and simplifies the recipe, made with just 4 ingredients. It has an apple flavor, creamy mouthfeel, and gorgeous pink colour that is perfect for Galentine's Day!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz apple juice
  • ¾ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ oz grenadine
  • 1 egg white
  • Garnish: maraschino cherry or amarena cherry

Instructions

  • Add the 4 mocktail ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake without ice first to emulsify the egg white, then add a large scoop of ice and shake hard for 30-60 seconds to chill the drink. Strain into a small coupe glass and garnish with a cherry on a cocktail stick. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you can't find grenadine, try using the sweet syrup from a jar of maraschino cherries or amarena cherries.
  • I highly recommend including a fresh egg white for the creamy texture, but you can omit it or try aquafaba in its place.
