Mix together the dry ingredients.

Mix together the wet ingredients separately.

Place the cold (dairy-free) butter in the dry ingredients.

Cut in the butter with your hands or a pastry cutter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry + butter. Stir to combine roughly.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and bring together with your hands.

Shape the dough into a disk and cut into 8 slices.

Place on a lined baking sheet and brush with (dairy-free) milk. Bake at 425ºF for 12-15 minutes.

Let baked scones cool on a wire rack for just 10 minutes.

While the scones cool, make the glaze.

Spread the glaze on the slightly warm scones.
