GLUTEN FREE  Mozzarella Sticks (in the Air Fryer!)

These homemade gluten-free mozzarella sticks are crispy and cheesy! With oven-baked and air fryer options, this healthier version of the classic appetizer very easy to make.

Ingredients

Prepare the breading station with flour, egg, breadcrumbs, and a sheet pan.

Place a mozzarella stick in the gluten-free flour. Roll to evenly coat.

Dip the mozzarella stick in the whisked egg.

Evenly coat the mozzarella stick in breadcrumbs.

Repeat to double bread the mozza stick. Place back in the egg.

Roll in the breadcrumbs one more time.

Place the breaded mozza sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Air fry at 375ºF for 5-6 minutes until crisp.

OR bake at 400ºF for 10-12 minutes. 

Arrow

Serve warm with marinara sauce.
