Mix together the dry ingredients for the tart shell.

Add the cold butter and cut it in using your hands or a pastry cutter.

Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time.

Roll out the pastry and use a cookie cutter or glass to cut circles.

Place the pastry circles in a muffin tin. Bake at 400ºF for 8-9 minutes.

Add the pecans and filling. Reduce the temperature to 375ºF and bake for another 10-11 minutes.
