Tart Shell Ingredients

Filling Ingredients

(1) Mix together the dry ingredients for the tart shell.

(2) Add the cold butter and cut it in using your hands or a pastry cutter.

(3) Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time.

(4) Make the filling.

(5) Roll out the pastry and use a cookie cutter or glass to cut circles.

(6) Place the pastry circles in a muffin tin. Bake at 400ºF for 8-9 minutes.

(7) Add the pecans and filling. Reduce the temperature to 375ºF and bake for another 10-11 minutes.

(8) Enjoy warm after about 15 minutes, or allow to come to room temperature.
